It was birthed from the then Lagos Province 2 HQ, Dominion Sanctuary, Acme, Ikeja in December 2005, with its location being at Alphon House, Toyin Street, Ikeja. In 2010, the Parish relocated to 4b, Efunleye Street, BOET Estate, by ABC B/Stop, off Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja.
The Parish has had four Pastors from inception till date; Pastor Noruwa Edokpolo, Pastor Seyi Thomas, Pastor Efe Akpomudge and now Pastor Ifeoma Menakaya.
Every first Sunday, we gather for our Thanksgiving Service, a joyful time to thank God for past months, the months ahead, and for all His blessings. As a church family, we celebrate His faithfulness and goodness in our lives. One of the highlights of this service is our Davidic Dance, a powerful time of praise where we dance away sorrows and burdens. With gratitude in our hearts, we declare before God that no matter the worries or challenges of life, we will still dance, rejoice, and give Him all the glory.
Every second Sunday is our Business & Medical Service, created to equip members with biblical principles for success and healthy living. In the business session, we learn wisdom from scripture for daily life, God’s kingdom, and our neighbors. Lessons are shared on how to start and grow businesses in ways that honor God, with 3 John 2 giving deeper light. Afterward, our medical session allows all members to meet with in-house doctors for a FREE medical checkup and treatment where needed.
Every third Sunday is our Youths Sunday, a vibrant service where all programs are led by the youths, making it their special church day. This service highlights the God-given gifts and creativity of our young people as they minister through the Word, music, drama, and more. It is a time where the energy, passion, and potential of the youths are expressed in worship to God. Youths Sunday also serves as a platform to nurture, equip, and prepare them to walk boldly in God’s purpose for their lives and future.
Every fourth Sunday is Deliverance and Praise Sunday, a powerful service where we pray our way out of every bondage and attack of darkness against our lives, families, and loved ones. It is a time to seek God’s power for freedom and victory in every area of life. Beyond prayer, we lift high the weapon of praise, declaring that worship is a mighty force in spiritual warfare. Just as the Bible shows countless victories through praise, we gather with faith, prayer, and songs to experience God’s deliverance and breakthrough.
Every fifth Sunday is Church Unusual, a refreshing service where we step away from routine and enjoy creative fellowship. It is filled with exciting activities like family get-togethers, Bible quizzes, fun games, and group competitions that strengthen unity. Church Unusual is designed to build bonds, encourage interaction, and create lasting memories. It is always a joyful time where laughter, learning, and love are shared freely, reminding us that serving God is also filled with joy and celebration.
We are a community, counselling, family resource, and worship center. We are a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
